Yard work, a high fever, and a three hour time difference.

I have a fever today. Or, I had a fever earlier. Now, I'm going to have a heart attack, but in the nice way.

I got the job I wanted at Big Toy Company. I start June 1st. I will also be briefly filling in as a sex educator for a middle school (thanks to Mrs. Ilsley). The library also somehow has money for me to make an appearance in May, which is nice, because I really miss those crazy library patrons.

I am going to the Bronx Zoo on Tuesday for J.'s birthday. I will drive a carload of metal dudes to NY, I don't know what I was thinking.

I have a new set of wheels and a set of plans so serious that I'm gonna pass out thinking about them.

Oh, and I almost forgot. This is old now, but I need to post it so that I don't forget it. As if that were possible.

8th grader: "MISS! LET ME GO TO THE BATHROOM!!"
Me: "Leave your cell phone here and come right back."
8th grader: "GOD. FINE. OK."
Me: "Just go!"
(Two seconds later, high pitched screaming from the hallway and footsteps running back around the corner)
8th grader: "MISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!"
Me: "STOP YELLING!"
8th grader: "BUT THERE IS A DOOKIE IN THE HALLWAY!"
Me: "You are kidding."
8th grader: "NAH! AND IT IS GAH-REEN!"

I am going to miss that job.
